SquadCal

Shared calendars for your crew — with an AI assistant that does the busywork.

What's special

One calendar your whole crew actually keeps up.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Everyone on the same page

Make a squad — family, friends, or a team — and share one calendar. Add something once and everybody sees it.

💬

Just describe it

Type "soccer practice Tuesdays at 5 through May" in plain language and the AI adds every event for you — no forms.

🎤

…or just say itProNew

The newest way to use Describe: tap the mic and talk instead of typing. It asks its follow-ups out loud, reads the event back, and saves when you say “save.” See how it works ↓

📸

Snap a schedule

Take a photo of a printed season schedule, team roster, or school calendar and the AI pulls the events straight onto your calendar. Tap “Open event” right after and you land in the full editor to tweak anything.

🔎

Find a calendar

Search for a sports team, league, or school and subscribe automatically — games and events show up on their own.

📧

Email invites straight to your calendarPro

Give your squad its own address like [email protected], then add it as a guest on any Google, Outlook, or Apple invite. The event lands on your family calendar on its own — reminder time, organizer, and guest list included. You choose who each invite is for, RSVP right from SquadCal, and the sender's own calendar sees your answer. Forward the school, sports, work, or travel invite once; SquadCal handles the rest. Change the time later and the updated invite goes back out, so outside guests never end up on the old one.

🔔

Reminders that land

Push notifications so plans actually happen instead of getting lost in a group chat.

👵

Grandparent View

Text relatives a view-only link to the family calendar — no account, no password, always up to date.

🗓️

Your week, delivered

A Sunday-evening Week Ahead summary and an optional morning agenda — plus a heads-up before you double-book anyone.

📱

iPhone & web

Use it on your phone or in any browser — the same squad, everywhere you are.

✈️

Works without a signalNew

Open the app on a plane or up in the mountains and your family's schedule is still right there. Anything you change syncs back up the moment you reconnect.

📍

The closest one firstNew

Type a place when you're adding an event and the nearest matches come first, with the distance beside each — "Chipotle — 0.4 mi" — instead of a same-name business three states away. Your location is used for that one lookup and never stored.

🙈

Your view, your wayNew

Hide anyone you don't need to see from your own calendar. The choice is remembered on every device you sign in on — and it never changes what anyone else sees.

🏫

Calendars that aren't peopleNew

Admins can mark a member as a bucket instead of a person — "School calendar", a team's fixtures. Everyone events, "who's free?" answers, and double-booking warnings skip them automatically.

🔐

Stay signed inNew

Sessions now last about 90 days of normal use, so the app stops asking you to log back in every few weeks.

Newest addition

Now you can just say it.

Describe has always let you type an event in plain language. In the latest update you can talk instead — handy when your hands are full, the kids are in the car, or you're walking out the door. It's part of SquadCal Pro, on iPhone and the web, and the Text button keeps the classic Describe exactly as it was.

🎤 Tap once, then talk

You“Boden has a dentist appointment next Wednesday at ten.”

SquadCal“Got it — is that just for Boden, or the whole family?”

You“Just Boden.”

SquadCal“Dentist — just Boden, Wednesday, 10 to 10:30. Good?”

You“Save.”

✓ On the calendar. Never touched the screen.

🔒 Your voice never leaves the phone

Your speech is turned into text right on your device. No audio is ever recorded, stored, or uploaded — SquadCal only ever sees the words.

Say “save” whenever you want

“Save,” “yes,” or “sounds good” and it’s done — at any point, so you don’t have to sit through the questions.

Interrupt it, ask it things

Talk over it mid-sentence to correct something. And it answers questions too — “what else do I have today?”
