Privacy Policy
Lifetime Bible (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Junior Varsity Enterprises, LLC. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built Lifetime Bible to help you read, highlight, and take notes on Scripture — we are not in the business of selling your data, and we never will be.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, and a display name if you provide one. We use email-and-password sign-in.
- Your content — the notes, highlights, bookmarks, reading progress, and study chats you create in the app. This is yours; we store it so it syncs across your devices and so you don’t lose it.
- Reading groups (optional) — if you create or join a group, your display name and any content you choose to share are visible to other members of that group.
- Subscription status — whether you have Lifetime Bible Pro. Purchases are processed by Apple; we receive only your subscription status, never your card number.
- Basic technical information — app version and limited diagnostic data needed to run the app and fix problems. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
How we use your information
- To provide the app and keep your notes, highlights, and reading progress backed up and in sync.
- To generate responses when you use the optional AI study features (see below).
- To manage your subscription and provide customer support.
- To keep the service secure and working correctly.
AI study features
Lifetime Bible includes optional AI-assisted study tools. When you use them, your request and the relevant passage text are sent to our AI provider, Google (Gemini API), solely to generate a response back to you. This data is not used to show you advertising, and we do not sell it. AI responses can be incomplete or wrong — please verify anything important. Avoid entering sensitive personal information into AI prompts.
Where your data is stored
Your account and content are stored with our hosting provider, Supabase (a managed PostgreSQL platform), on servers in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit, and database access is restricted by row-level security so each account can reach only its own data.
Who we share information with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app, and only for that purpose:
- Apple — processes subscription purchases.
- Supabase — hosting and database.
- Google — powers the optional AI study features.
- Resend — sends transactional email (e.g. password resets).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Your choices and data deletion
- You can view, edit, or delete your notes, highlights, and bookmarks at any time in the app.
- You can permanently delete your entire account from inside the app: Settings → Delete my account. This removes your account and its associated data from our systems.
- You can also email us at [email protected] with any privacy request.
Children
Lifetime Bible is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Subscriptions
Lifetime Bible Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). See our Terms of Use (EULA).
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
